Keli received a B.S. in Business Administration from Illinois State University where she danced with Noir Dance Troupe. She was very proud of this dance group as it was founded by a former FieldCrest student. Noir gave Keli her first lessons in the style of hip-hop dance. Keli currently holds a Master’s in Early Childhood Professionals from Roosevelt University.

Keli was born on the south side of Chicago and began her dance training at FieldCrest School of Performing Arts. She trained at Fieldcrest for 16 years under the direction of her mother, Donna Davenport. Keli excelled at FieldCrest in Tap, Ballet, and Pointe. At the age of 10, Keli became a student-teacher where she carefully watched the teaching styles of each instructor. Keli would stretch the dancers for the first 15 minutes of each class. Occasionally, the instructor would ask her to continue the class while the instructor helped parents at the front desk. Keli began teaching the class mini-routines the kids enjoyed. At the age of 12, Keli began teaching beginner and intermediate ballet, jazz, and tap classes.

As a winner of many dance competitions over the years, Keli has choreographed several state and national competition winning performances. Keli competed in “The National Tour of the Tap Dance Kid” where she placed as the 1st runner-up placing behind her tap instructor, Bril Barrett.

Keli has volunteered her time and talent by hosting dance camps with the Boys and Girls Club of Decatur and Girl scouts of America. Currently, Keli serves as the President of the Children's Dance Theater Chicago, a non-profit children’s touring performing arts group and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc..
