The Children's Dance Theater Chicago

The Children's Dance Theater Chicago's (CDTC) mission is to provide entertainment services to residents of the community. The performers reinforce a caring community and demonstrate to others the value of life by visiting the sick, mentoring the young, and welcoming the elderly.

The Children's Dance Theater Chicago, a non-profit organization, makes a commitment to the community by helping to promote cultural diversity and self-worth.  The CDTC also displays the outcome of discipline, structure, and total commitment.  Our community based performances include the following:

The James Jordan Boys & Girls Club
 Expo for Today's Black Woman
 Micheal Reese Hospital
 North Pier Mall
 Chicago Daley Center
 Mercy Residence Center
 The Chicago Children's Museum
 The AIDS Foundation
 Girls Scouts of DuPage
 WGCI Radio
STAGE (cable network for Learning Technologies)
 Walt Disney World®
The Oprah Winfrey Show©

The CDTC is proud of their community based support system of parents, bus companies, dance apparel stores, corporations, and the Illinois Arts Council.

Internal support comes in the form of members who have pledged to strengthen and support the organization in all aspects.

The Children's Dance Theater Chicago (CDTC) is artistically supported by various major dance companies in and around the Chicago area.  They are financially supported by a Board of Directors, The Southland Foundation, the Chicago Department of Human Services, and the Illinois Arts Council.

FieldCrest School of Performing Arts is the umbrella and the facility used by the CDTC.
